Freescale to Set Up New Design Center in India

Freescale recently announced that it has acquired a 300,000 square foot campus in Noida, India, where the company plans to set up a so-called India Design Center, which will focus on intellectual property development and system-on-chip design. Along with this new center, Freescale plans to increase the number of engineers in its workforce in India to 1,500 in the coming four years.
